Alex is amazed I blog still and paid a nice compliment in a recent post about my continued blogging.
It is for my sanity, to get some stuff out of my system, to interact with others, some close to me and most not...
Not a big thing, just a thing... helps me stay sane... speaking of which... if someone asked you to describe your emotional stability...
Would you really tell them you were a step away from being a serial killer or have stalked people or if you were on meds? What a stupid question... everyone thinks they are a rational sane thinking human who is emotionally stable... I know, I was not near as sane as I am right now about 2 years ago, and I wouldn't have thought I was emotionally unstable, but I was....
and no, I am not on drugs, I was depressed, but I have "snapped" out of it...
I think I was just not getting enough chocolate for my sanity, but now I am .... esp. Chocolate Ice Box Pie

I love it that you say to Alex "you idiot" ... I agree to some extent that the omission of information is like a lie to me... but in a blog, hmmm I don't know... but in email or real conversations, yes...

I really miss your blogs... I still visit d.K.'s blog but since I am not as political, it is hard for me to feel "intelligent" making comments there... I guess I do miss the "conversation exchange".

You always make relevant and interesting comments when you visit me, and I enjoy them very much! Sometimes you even add some humor when it is definitely needed, so you're a valuable part of the group whose visits and comments are appreciated, so Thank You for that.
I blog for the some of the same reasons you do. It's hard to find the time and discipline to do it sometimes, but I always feel better (emotionally) after I've vented a bit online. It is something I do for me, mainly. The other nice thing is all the really nice and interesting people who I don't know other than the brief exchanges through these vehicles, but it has added something valuable for me.
I'm glad you're sticking around. I enjoy it and you always seem to have a lot of comments, so a lot of others do as well.
I hope Alex is well and comes back soon. I enjoyed the "calmness" I got from his words.

I miss Alex's blog, I think he won't start another one, for several reasons, but I do miss reading what he has to say...
I told WW that maybe we - that means you too - should just ahve a blog that we all pitch in and write when we feel like it.

Have you already set it up? I thought maybe WW would just resurrect her old blog and let us post on it. I think SG has stopped blogging. And it's not the same when you just comment - same in terms of etchnical ease I think...posts tend to be longer than comments...though WW outdid herself yesterday...my god i had to use the dictionary...

You should go over and read RJ's blog about dating and how to please a woman and how to please a man... it is hilarious... and true for the most part...
hmmm and see I don't have anyone trying to communicate by email, except really you. I know how to email WW, but then I wonder what I would say if I wrote to her...
I get it, I think blogging is best for you. I do wonder about people who blog so much. I don't have close friends close by when I am at home, no family except children, so blogging is my outlet.
WW is good at returning emails when she realises she has them....I think they were being sent to her junk mail folder and she had no idea it was personal emails until she looked....
I had the same problem with my yahoo account for a while. emails would be randomly sent to my junk mail folder.
she's good fun to talk to when I'm bored. She puts up with my crap

I think there's a cultural issue to blogging that is very interesting. I liked that SG used her blog to post her novellete. It was fun. And I've enjoyed some other people blogs, but other blogs.....
DK has a gerat blog - smart, informative, intelligent. And a couple of other people have funny good blogs...
my stalker has a blog that should have warned me - egotistical, hypocondriacal, selfish, vindictive and essentially very pathetic. Yet she's not dumb and occasionally posts on interesting things. she just needs to do soemthing else with her life rather than just sit on her supposedly fat ass....
I don't know if blogging is for me. Sometimes I like having conversations and other times I need to work.
It's less of an outlet for me now. I was really self introspective a few months ago.
