I have been actually trying to date for about 2 months and I haven't gotten a date yet. The online venues have not been, not in the least, fruitful. It is depressing, then I come home to a teenager who thinks he doesn't have to do what I ask or follow the "rules". Then I try to look into moving and find that I cannot even afford to do that.
I can handle one at a time, but not three...

It popped up on my screen on Saturday and I had never tried one before. I followed it and signed up just for fun. it's free for women. Since then - I've gotten two dates with guys in my age group 30-36 who are as educated as I am. And I've chatted with two other people in other cities for fun. I've had maybe 2 idiots send me icky photos and one was rude - so I terminated the chat and blocked him. He was an ass which I could tell right off from his chatting.
it's ok. I'm glad that I'm not dating per se. I just moved to the city and wanted a way to meet other people. I don't even have a photo on my thing but the two guys i'm going out with on Friday, one looks like George Clooney and the other one just looks nice. Try it and see if it works for you. I think eharmony was another one that a girlfriend is trying - for real - since she has to pay for it.
